A Cold Start But Temps Will Rebound...
As the arctic cold front moved through this morning the ArkLaMiss was blanketed with cloud cover and temperatures only in the mid 30s all day. This evening through the overnight hours the clouds will begin to clear out with overnight lows dropping into the upper 20s.
On Tuesday the sun will return as a high pressure system will develop over the MS-AL border creating clear skies and calm winds. The sunshine will help to warm temps a good 10 degrees tomorrow as most areas will experience highs in the upper 40s.
Wednesday breezy conditions pick up from the South at 10-15 mph pushing some even warmer air into the ArkLaMiss as most regions will see temperatures nearly 60 for a high. However, after just a few clouds during the day more clouds move in late Wednesday evening. The clouds are the result of the next frontal system making its way toward the Delta.
Early Thursday morning the front will move through the Delta bringing a good chance for some light showers to develop lasting through the morning hours. Once again temperatures will really cool behind the front as afternoon highs will just be in the low 40s. Winds will be gusty out of the North at 15-20 making it feel even colder.
Friday the clouds clear out but the temps will still be cold. Daytime highs will once again only be in the upper 30s.
Have a great Tuesday,
