MVSU Suffers First SWAC Defeat

Mississippi Valley State's historic 17-game win streak came to an abrupt end Thursday night with a 78-67 loss at Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the final regular season game of the season.

The loss ends the Delta Devils' chance of becoming the first SWAC men's basketball team to finish 18-0 in the conference.
Valley will, however, still have the No. 1 seed in next week's SWAC Tournament in Garland, Texas.
