Southern Cornbread Dressing

Southern Cornbread Dressing

serves 12

1 cup onion, chopped

½ cup Celery, chopped

3 cups Cornbread, crumbled

3 cups Biscuits, crumbed

½ cup butter

1 Tb Tony Chachere's Spice and Herb Seasoning

about 3 cups Turkey Stock

Heat 1 Tb butter in a Dutch oven. Saute onion and celery until translucent. Remove from heat. Add cornbread and biscuits, Spice and Herb Seasoning, the rest of the butter. Toss lightly. Add stock to moisten. Fold together and cover. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 15 minutes.
