The Greenville/Greenwood television market covers seventeen counties in Mississippi, two in Arkansas and two in Louisiana. Major population centers include Lake Village, AR, and Greenville, Cleveland, Greenwood and Grenada, MS. The Mississippi Delta represents 135,300+ homes and a viewing population of over 1,070,000 persons.
Viewing in the Delta extends well beyond our Designated Market Area with viewing as far north as Tunica, MS, south to Yazoo City, to the west beyond Monticello, AR and east to Batesville, MS.
Greenville, the largest city in the Delta also ranks as the fifth largest city in the state. Situated on the Mississippi River it is home to major barge builders as well as river port traffic. It is also home to seven major banking companies with numerous branches spread across the Delta.
In addition to river traffic, the Delta plays a major role in Mississippi's transportation industry. With major highways, US 82 running east/west, Hwy 61 running north/south and Interstate 55, the Delta is a major gateway to the south.
