BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A man has been arrested with what Louisiana State Police say were over 5,000 dosages of prescription drugs in a storage unit.

According to police reports, Ali Al Khurdi gave investigators permission to search a self-storage facility after they presented him with information they collected.

During the search, investigators allegedly found over five thousand dosage units of Lortab, Xanax and Viagra.

Al Khurdi was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Friday on charges of possession with intent to distribute various drugs.

Al Khurdi came into the United States on a student visa that expired in 1990. He will be unable to bond out of jail and will be detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.
