LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A former deputy secretary of state who served as the nation's first director of national intelligence is speaking in Little Rock on foreign affairs.
John Negroponte plans to speak at the University of Arkansas Clinton School for Public Service on Tuesday. Negroponte served as the nation's first director of national intelligence from 2005 until 2007 and was responsible for oversight and coordination of 18 federal agencies and departments.
Negroponte also previously served as the ambassador to Iraq and to the United Nations.
