DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (AP) - A 20-year-old soldier killed in Iraq a little over a week ago was buried on Tuesday.

Michael Cote Jr., of Denham Springs, was killed when a Blackhawk crashed on Sept. 19. The U.S. military says a Blackhawk helicopter crashed at an American base in Iraq, killing Cote and wounding 12 others.

Officials say the helicopter went down at the Balad Air Base, 50 miles north of Baghdad.

The cause of the crash was unknown and remained under investigation.
