MADISONVILLE, La. (AP) - Post-employment orientation sessions are coming up for workers facing layoffs at a Louisiana barge maker.

The state labor department is holding the sessions for Trinity Marine Products workers who are set to lose their jobs next month.

The sessions will be held Aug. 10 through Aug. 12, at 8:30 a.m. each day at the company's offices in Madisonville.

The orientation is designed to inform employees about services available to them through the state labor department, known as the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
